Honeymoons

A honeymoon to Africa, combining beach and bush, is likely to be the most memorable holiday of your life and the ultimate romantic experience. Luxury or rustic, active or restful, we can create your perfect “Out of Africa, Out of this World” honeymoon to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Zambia or Zimbabwe.

Africa’s great advantage is its variety. You can be as pampered as you wish with spas, riverboat sundowners and candle-lit bush dinners or start off married life with the most active honeymoon imaginable doing rugged bush walks and game drives, white water rafting and even elephant-back rides! A number of lodges and camps have special honeymoon rooms and packages and we try to get you upgraded to the best wherever you are staying.

With direct flights to many African countries from the UK, a time difference of no more than 3 hours so eliminating jet lag, fantastic food, warm weather, incredible wildlife, stunning beaches and warm, welcoming people, Africa really is the perfect honeymoon destination.

See the annual wildebeest migration - the greatest animal spectacle on Earth - in Kenya’s Masai Mara; trek up Africa’s highest mountain - Kilimanjaro - in Tanzania; experience some of the best walking and night drives in Zambia’s South Luangwa Valley; visit the largest inland delta in the world - Botswana’s Okavango Delta; ride a horse through herds of animals on Malawi’s Nyika Plateau; trek with camels in the wilderness of Laikipia in Kenya; track rhino and desert elephants on foot in Namibia’s Damaraland; marvel at one of the natural wonders of the world - the Victoria Falls which straddles Zimbabwe and Zambia; climb the highest sand dunes in the world at Sossusvlei in Namibia; track wild mountain gorillas in Uganda; drive the fabulous Garden Route and explore the Winelands of South Africa’s Cape - the range of options and activities is endless!
